Hi there. I'm Mike from New York. Now to be brutally honest, I didn't come here because of metal detecting - I've never done it at all (yet). Instead I came because I'm a model builder/amateur CAD designer and I need some references for some metal detecting gear I want to replicate in scale. That being said, I do work at a beach and I'm always fascinated by the guys walking up and down the beach in the wee hours of the morning.

Not really. Actually I do more of 3D CAD designing for model builders. So little detail parts and whatnot not that people can buy from Shapeways, a 3D printing service. If you want me to try to design some earrings of detectors for you, I can try.
