Hello from NW Kansas

Howdy folks! I am new to detecting, & looking to learn all I all I can before I make the investment in a detector. I live in the far nw corner of Kansas. We have alot of old farm steads, school houses, places like that to dig at. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

Welcome. Practice, practice, practice. Learn your machine. Know what it tells you. Bury known targets, coins and trash, and then scan them over and over. Learn what the detector is trying to tell you. Try to get a detector with a discriminator. It really helps. Best of luck.
