Hello all hunters, I’m new here and I thought I’d give a quick hello. I first read about treasure hunting back in middle school, it was a book about Mel Fisher and his search for the Atocha and i further learned about Spanish treasure fleets from the movie Fool’s Gold and its mention of the 1715 fleet.

This is a quick bio about me, again I thought I’d introduce myself, I’m sure I’ll learn can a lot here.

Always will welcome a fellow Texan! I'm a transplant to Washington state though now... My story is same as yours.. Found myself in Key West tripping out on the story of the Atocha and got the fever.. Heading back there in couple of weeks, gonna rent a boat and get out to the remote keys for some detecting if Dorian doesn't mess it up for me!
