I've been lurking for awhile now, just registered today, thought I'd pop on and say hello. Mayhap there is an introduction forum, but I didn't see it. I've never detected before, but hopefully someday I'll get a chance too. History/archaeology/treasure hunting, etc., have always been a fascination to me, and I love to bore friends and family on occasion with random bits of trivia. I try to keep it miminal, otherwise they call me a nerd.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello.
