Hello everyone, new to T-net and new to metal detecting. My first time using a metal detector was about a year ago when at the beach for a family camping trip when my wedding ring fell off. One of the guys in our group had a metal detector and was able to find my ring for me. since then i wanted to get into it a little more but never had the time. last month we picked up a metal detector for the family to use as a way to get the kids out of the house more.
a little more about me, i have been in the U.S. Army for 16 years now and am looking forward to retirement in 4 more years. been all over the world and have always loved finding things that have been lost in the ground. from what i have seen here at the forum over the last few weeks everyone seems to be very helpfull, friendly and knowledgeable.
