You don't need a test kit.
Use the back side of a white tile.
The underside of the toilet lid.

Any white ceramic that is not glazed will work for a streak test.

This is what that relic looks like undamaged. I found 2 of these decades ago and was told they are stirrups. I will stay with that ID until told differently.

This reminds me of a few posts years ago. Very similar. I cant remember what they are called. To help keep straps from digging in to a horses skin n such.

First off Welcome to a very fine forum. Some time back i remember they had something similar to this to hold wrapped bandages on wound or spot on the body that needs covered., I am not saying this is it but it might be a possibility
