Hello,New to detecting.

Hello all,i am new to detecting as I just acquired a Garrett Cache-Hunter model detector with 2 search coils.

I did not get a chance to do anything real major with it yet,as I had to go to work,but i did find a penny in the yard

Well I am happy to be here and learn,thanks for having me.

Welcome to a great hobby and some of the best people you'll probably ever meet. The way to really learn is to get out in the field and swing that coil. You'll be surprised how quickly you will learn to decipher what your detector is telling you. Best of luck and stay in touch.
