HELP/ADVICE SOUGHT FOR BUYING THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT FOR TREASURE PROSPECTING

Dear Boarders,

I am pretty new to this activity & since long have nurtured this interest to go prospecting in & around my place in Orissa, India. I am very confident to strike something provided I have the right equipment in hand. Looking forward to some honest advice from you pros who have already tried their hand in treasure prospecting. I am not sure as to the type of equipment I need to buy to go prospecting. Can sumone help please !!!

You might want to move down the initial page a bit to the prospecting section.

Then you might expand your post a bit - what are you looking for? Gold, silver, gems? Placer or hard rock? For the metals (not gems, of course) are you interested in using a metal detector or a sluice, drywasher, or?

The Supporting Vendors websites at the bottom of the page contain a great deal of useful information on prospecting equipment.

You'll find TN's fellow members to be very helpful. One of the keys to receiving a good answer is to ask a good question. The more detail in your inquiry, the better the odds you'll receive a practicable response.
