Hi I was out detecting this morning and found this nice little button, I've tried looking it up on google but cannot find anything about it! I've never seen one like this before any help is appreciated thanks.

Hmmm... Interesting and inconclusive... It could be old, I suppose. Is it silver?

It reminds me of the reproduction buttons on my American Civil War reenactment battle jacket.

I can't even begin to describe the knight "characters" on the front for research purposes.

Perhaps one of the other knowledgeable Brits will chime in on this one.
