No idea, but that is a cool find!

Hello,
We have this old anchor pulled up in a fishing net off the south coast of England. Is there any way of telling how old it is or what type of boat it was used on? Thanks!
Searches showed a couple of results, one was a Kedge anchor and another an Admiralty anchor. Age, no idea.

I believe that is a mid 1800's to early 1900's admiralty anchor based solely on the pictures...

Just my opinion. I'm no expert.

Thanks for your help, that’s what we thought too!

Just saw this.
