Help dowsing

This is a small lake bed that was at a resort created in the early 1920's. The lake was used for swimming and had a diving platform in the middle. The lake was drained around 2007. I'm planning on metal detecting it soon and am interested in dowsing and how it works. I figure there might be a lot of jewelry around where the diving platform if I can figure out where was( this resort was mainly used buy the middle and upper class at the time). Any help is appreciated.

I am getting that the diving board had no set place that it was located..Art

Blue circles for silver targets. Red circles for places to check metal detecting, for mostly loose coins/treasure or artifacts of value, from surface down to 1-2 feet deep.

The diving board was on a vertical metal pier. Your picture is'nt zoomed out far enough to show where that was.Can you post clearer, sharper picture of the area and keep off all the identifying information?Jon
