Help ID Gerz Beer Stein

Does anyone know what this stein is for/represents? Is has military symbols and a locomotive on the lid and says "the reserve is ready". There is also a medical caduceus on one side along with the center symbol. It has a newer Gerz Gerzit mark. Any help would be appreciated!

The winged wheel and crown is the symbol of the Imperial German Railway Service, it may be a reproduction of an antique stein but I didn't see any online that were an exact match. Yours will date from somewhere after WW2 until 1990, due to the mark "W Germany" and with the English word "Original" would have been made for export.
