HELP ID METAL PLATE, Hose Supporter

located portions of a thin metal round "plate" and the only marking i can see is "& 2" side by side on the bottom of the front of it, , It is about 10 inches across if i had the other pieces

Any help identifying these items would be appreciated

Yes it is a garter or stocking buckle,and a lot of items were marked with the patents back then,most of the suspender buckles were too
