Help ID please. Gold compact & case!

I came across this last summer, have never seen anybody about it. Can anybody tell me more about this? It has three markings. I've been told it could be known as a snuffbox.

It is gold, 18k solid. Just the design and the stamps I'm curious where this game from, and how much it might be worth!

That looks pretty fancy mikael Likely to be a quality item.
Do you not have Macro on your camera? It's indicated by a little flower?

If you need help to use it, just ask, otherwise a description of the marks might also be helpful.

That did it, thanks. I'd love to know where this came from and maybe even how much it's worth. Anybody have advice on what to do?

neat piece, are there hallmarks on the outer case also? under the felt?

i found a scottish hallmark that is similar...but i admit i have never seen those stamps before.

My girlfriend took a close look at it with a magnifying glass, and it says 115 on the edge of the big piece. It's engraved in there. I'll have to take a picture.
