Help ID Rebel Bronze Type ring

Hey gang. I’m visiting family back in Kentucky and found this ring up in the holler in a box of trash/junk. So I picked it up and didn’t want it to be thrown away. I cannot find any information on this. It looks to be bronze, has green tarnish. It’s a heavy ring. No markings whatsoever. Any ideas on this? Seeing cannot find anything like it hope

a quick look on the net shows that at least one high school had 'Rebels' as their sports mascot. That showed in Boone County. I would assume it's a sports mascot ring
