Help ID this (possible) hood ornament? *QUICKLY SOLVED*

My gal found this today. It's about 4" long and it looks like it was broke off from a longer complete assembly that had an 'arc' to it. I'm thinking hood ornament? It looks like a female figure due to the braids but I guess it could be male. Looks like an Indian figure. I tried to find Indian motorcycle ornaments and didn't find one that matched. Anybody recognize it?

Early/mid 30`s Pontiac perhaps? Nice find.
