OUCH! Looks like you ran your hand through a window...:sadsmiley:

Any idea where this is from and also a date and value please. Thanks in advance.

All due respect...you're asking for an awful lot of info without
much to go on but a somewhat blurry pic.

Are there any markings on it?

Are there additional holes in it? Is it an ocarina?

As stated it is VERY difficult to give much info on this piece without more pics and info. It could be pre-columbian or a tourist trinket from the 1980's. :dontknow:

If you think it is very old, take to an expert or contact someone at a local university.

I have something similar I picked up for a couple bucks - mine is an animal ocarina - four holes in the sides, with a slit in tail to blow into, and another hole under tail. I'm not sure yours has enough holes, though. Without more pix, and an explanation of what the slit/break? on your tail piece is, we can't confirm. Top view, bottom view, any inscription, and details on tail. Also maybe roughly where you found it? :coffee2:

Per your request here's more pictures of it.

:sleepy2: I think he fell asleep.
(Looks like Blingie if he was a garden gnome).

well, huh. That is a VERY odd placement of holes. (Just to cover all bases, try blowing in each one?)
It's kinda cute, whatever it is.

A little more about it s all I know is that she said she thinks it was found off the coast of Poroireco by drivers and than acquired by a rich private collect who had a large collect of simulator objects, the private collector died and the collection broken up where the now owners late husband acquired it. That's really all I know. She did say two local university archies told her it was authentic but to me my guts telling me it almost too prefect. Please I really need some help on this! The lady is now really hurting for money. oh she said she had it for bout 20 years.

It appears to represent a salamander - if that is any help.

If you need quick response...
take it to an auctioneer! They very well may have an idea. They are very knowlegable on "old" items.
Or, you could take it to an OLD pawn shop and tell them youre not interested in selling,
but info if they have knowledge. You dont want the pawn shop to tell you it aint much of anything, you sell it cheap, and then it be something of value... they turn around and sell for high price. (Dont let them see you be anxious)
