I found one just like it except the name was on the back. Probably someone's name.
 

Dont no what that is, but its nice and its silver..
 

It's an Egyptian style of jewelry- called a cartouche - the symbols are usually representative of some kind of letter and meaning a persons name/ that's these days anyway. Tablets of Egypt is where the jewelry style hails from _ still it is called a cartouche. I had a gold one with my nickname on it- in the characters- it came with a little translation paper- enough said .
 

It's called a Cartouche and the Symbols are Hieroglyphics for letters of the persons name. When stationed in the middle east and Turkey they are popular souvineers
