Jan. 2014 Finds - Gold and My First Foreign Silver!!!

[Ed-D]

I continue to beat the bushes, slog through mud, and dig practically everything... praise God the finds keep coming. This was a banner month for me because I finally got my first foreign silver coin!

My most notable finds are:

Coins
1917 French 50 Centimes! (yes I am excited about this one)
1968 Kennedy Half (40%)
1953D Washington Quarter
2 Mercs - 1936D, 1943D
2 Roosies - 1952D, 1953D
2 War Nickels - 1943D, 1943S

Jewelry
14k ring with ruby
1934 class ring (14KT and Sterling)... my 8th class ring.
A sterling ring with swastika markings (probably a pre-Nazi era good luck ring)
a sterling toe ring

Relics
A 1904 World's Fair watch fob - Here's what one in better condition looks like.
