Help identifying painting

I have in my personal collection a painting from approx 1870 that I need help identifying. I am unable to locate a signature and was wondering if this could be a Hudson River School painting. ANY additional assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi, have you checked the back? Sometimes on old paintings the artists did write their information, and title of the work! You have to set some time to go over it meticulously and hopefully the sig is hiding somewhere! All the best!

Also take the painting off the frame sometimes the signature is underneath the frame.
