Help me ID this front Central Texas

This crystal? Was found on the North shore of Lake Travis in Central Texas, in a clay bank, most of the area is limestone and shale. It is dark amber slightly translucent, with a flat base. Any ideas?

That is a prime example of Texas Calcite.

We have nearly every hue to be found here in TX - from chocolate milk to quartz clear.
