HELP...No clue what this is???

Was walking my farm in So. GA yesterday and stumbled across this in a huge wash-out from recent heavy rains. Plummet or some kind of charm? Possibly to ward off alligators? LOL
It was found close to a 40 acre pond.

At first I thought that was dirt all over it. Rain it under the sink and hole gave way after using sink sprayer.

Try looking through the hole at your tv or something. I have some quartz pieces with holes and they enhance vision. I’m not saying their lenses, but their lenses.

Make a fist with a little hole going through where your fingers meet your palm and you get the same effect. It has nothing to do with the rock being quartz. It’s simply an eye trick that allows your retina to focus only on one spot.

That’s a good point but I think the quartz does add something. Could certainly be wrong though.

The hole is natural, but I see a lot of percussion flaking and hinge fractures. What was being made from that poor material, I don't know, but it ain't just a rock.
