thought it was my battery,
It gets very erratic and won't detect
when I Hook
the coil on

going to have to send it in.

I Actually Have all the parts to Repair it,
But don't trust taking the guts out the housing
without ripping a wire Loose.
& I'm Garbage at soldering.

I sent in a Minelab Excal for a cracked coil, it took 8 working days for them to repair it, so the repair time isn't bad at the moment.

Good luck Jeff, if we lived closer, I would loan you one of mine, I have 2, although the water proof one is also currently down for repairs. I am having to replace the WOT coil on it, I cracked it when it fell over after leaning it on my van coil up. I didn't realize it was cracked till it started giving me a problem in the surf. I found a used WOT for $80 and having it shipped to me.

8/21 was a Friday and with the holidays they have had it about 2 weeks. It should be ready soon, mine took just a hair over 3 weeks..

on the 3rd. I Called.

Was told She didn't know anything except
the work order was Initialed.

Called Yesterday was told It's in the shop.

Sovereign is done.

They are going to try & Ship it out today yet.

He said he had to Clean some Corrosin Out
& It was Pretty Dirty inside also
including sand.

I Believe he said he also replaced the All Metal switch.

Cost was only $50.00

From what I have heard, Tesoro now charges on repairs if you are not the originaly owner now.

If I'm hunting in the water give me a Minelab.......Nulls on iron and will tell you when you have a gold ring with a piece of iron................
