Mexico mint, front looks like Charles II it says Carlos II, but all on top of each other. Phillip V looks kind of jumbled also, But this looks like Carlos II. Charles II ruled from 1665 to 1700. Looks to be small, maybe a 1 or 2 reale. Maybe like a dime or a penny. Measure or have it next to a ruler. If using a digital camera, go into menu and find the icon that looks like a flower that is close up or macro. Use that to get a close up. If you have a gram scale that would also help to know what it is. 1/2 reale is 1 1/2 grams, 1 is 3 grams, 2 is 6-7, 4 is 13-14 or so, 8 is 27-28 grams.

I second that. I was wallowing in misinformation regarding some of my coins before I found this BB. The knowledge here, both individual and combined is exellent.
