Help to identify

[EastTN8]

This was found laying on the ground in a dirt spot after mowing. Has a total of 18 sides with notches cut into the ends. Sorry bout the picture quality it is a pretty small item(bead?). Looks like Quartz. Second picture is it sitting on a penny for scale.

Welcome to the site! I am clueless to what it could be but it looks kinda like obsidian. Someone will be along shortly to shed more light on it for you but it's real pretty whatever it is.

Could be a broken up Glass Bead but hard to say from just those two pictures.

Need better pics but it looks like a piece of smoky quartz crystal .
