I don't know much about foreign silver.
Bought this at my coin club tonight at an auction we have when we get together.
I thought it looked good for $5. When it came up I was the only to bid on it. So, $5 it was.
I thought not bad for $5 and knowing nothing about this coin.
Came home and looked it up. From what I read there seems to be a lot of counterfeits floating around.
Also, this coin is facing the opposite direction of the authentic coins I found across the internet.
It is seated left; where as , all the others I see except for a few are seated to the right.
With all this being said. What do I have?
Real. Fake. What?
39mm
28 grams (Note: this is on a vegetable scale that is usually close to accurate. But still off a little) Don't have a good scale at this moment.
1905
Mint: A
Seated Left
Does not stick to a magnet
Any thoughts?
Thank you,
