Help with a Roosevelt dime

Found this dime in a box from the bank. It's weight is so close to my other Roosevelt dimes that I can not measure a difference with my current scale. The edge is almost smooth. When dropped it sounds just like any other Roosevelt dime. There is no date, no In God We Trust or Mint mark. It looks like the clad is missing as well. Is this just a bad fake dime or possibly an error dime? Not sure his the face looks right is the nose too sharp? Thanks for your thoughts

Could be a lot of grease on the die, or PMD chemical., interesting however.
 

I think I see what was left of the date. It looks like the ones we get out of the ocean. The salt water turns them black and eventually eats them up.
