Hello, my Granddad was a biologist and recently passed away. He left me what appears to be an old German microscope in a nice keyed wooden box. The box also contains 4 or 5 drawers for lack of a better word full of various accessories. As far as I can tell, the microscope appears to be in good condition and it also works. There is a paper card in the wooden box that says Mikroscop Nr. And on the base of the microscope is the inscription E. Levitz Wetzlar No.62806. Will post the pics I took. Hoping someone would be kind enough to share some knowledge with me about this microscope and also maybe give me a general idea of the value. Thank you in advance to anyone that replies...I appreciate your time and any insight you provide.
