Help with buckle

Hello again everyone I was going over some hunted spots got a great single and pulled out this buckle anyone know how old it is

Don't know much for sure. I have not seen another credited to civil war period. And going by the hook it is considered to be a post civil war design. It is a sword belt style buckle.

Sadly I got very excited untill I looked at the front haven't seen another

It looks to be military issue, but early issue. Maybe early 20th century? Just a guess......

It looks exactly like the buckle issued to U.S Marines for our dress blues. Anodized brass, the blank plate is issued to Pvt. Pvt. 1st class and Lance Corporals

I am not sure how long they have been issued, I was in from 2000-2006

There is no match for it in either Kerksis',or O'Donnels,or any Military Ordinance Pub's I have.....
