Hi,
My husband and I recently purchased ground that contains what was once a well traveled trail, and river crossing. It has been in one family since about 1903 and that family wasn't into history so our side of the river hasn't had much if any exploration. We are looking forward to learning how to do this, and what we can find. With a sons borrowed $50 detector we found one bullet, best assumption is a Sharps. Can anyone confirm this for us? Nice find...sorry I can't help with the ID. You may want to include a picture of it next to a ruler or something else to show scale. Maybe include the gram weight too. Good luck.
