In my Bermuda Triangle of a yard here in Shippensburg, PA these 2 oddities came to light today. This button and the Coin. I searched for both on the net. Can someone give me some help :) I can't make out much on the Button it looks like it is in Spanish. The Coin says E.F. Millard & Son and has the number 12 on the rear of it.

Hi Beeps; What you've got is a Store Token from the 30's - 40's. E F Millard & Son is the name of the Company and the 12 is for "Good For 12 Cents" ok. Stores would give these out to Customers instead of regular change thus ensuring the customer would return to buy more stuff ok. Value ?? $5 ?? ok. The button is just a dress coat button. Value 0.00 ok. PEACE:RONB

with nhbenz' post in mind...is it possible it was a token placed in a basket at mine entrance to let operators know employee#12 was in mine.a simple and widely used personel accounting method.
