Help with Farm Field Item

This is the second one of these I've found in this field. It's made out of steel with what appears to be a hardened tip. The shaft in the photo has a sleeve around it that moves freely. Length is 3 3/8" and width is 1 1/2" at widest part. Any help with ID or age is greatly appreciated.

There are no trenches/ditches in this field. Guess that doesn't mean there wasn't at some time in the past

it most likely got lost when running field tile. they are all buried underground so you wont see any trenches.
