Help with ID on brass tube

I found this brass tube stamped "Dallemand & Co Chicago" , it looks like they were a wholesaler for booze pre prohibition but I cant find or think of what this would be for , maybe a crate handle or something? Any help is appreciated.

It really does!

Maybe its the spout from a seltzer spritzer or a flask funnel?

How about an advertising corkscrew cover/handle... This one is 1930's.

The old wiring in my house had brass tubes with tar inside where the wires went through the joists.
