Recently found these in the NY. Not sure if they are quartzite? Thank you for any feedback or id

Either quartz or calcite. I think it is quartz but sometimes it is tough to tell. A quick easy test is to put a small drop of acidic liquid such as hydrochloric acid, lemon juice, or vinegar on the stone. If it fizzes or bubbles it's calcite, if not, it's quartz.
