Help with identification of possible 1800's bullet!

Found this while cruising a soccer field sideline in the Springfield, MO, area for jewelry...a possible .52 (?) caliber Sharps (?) bullet... It is fired with rifling marks and a small impact mark. Has a dimple or sprue tab on the bottom, and mold seam mark around the whole length and is a two ringer (?) It weighs in at 13.4 grams. Any help with a probable ID will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sub 8-) (Lance)

The ruler photo shows its diameter is a lot smaller than .52-caliber. According to "A Handbook Of Civil War Bullets & Cartridges" it is a .44 Colt Revolver bullet manufactured by H.W. Mason shortly after the end of the civil war. In that book, see the photo and info on page 16 for bullet #34, and also page 15 bullet #29.

In your second photo can see a slight impression encircling the bullet's nose, made by the revolver's loading-rammer.
