Hello Everyone,

On Saturday, I found the lovely Girl or Boy lead figurine in a new permission farm field. Any idea of maker, figurine type or purpose?

It reminds me of Buster Brown, but it may be just a generic kid with similar clothes. Is there by any chance indications that it once had a hat?

Hello nhbenz,

The hat is toasty and general figurine overall fine detail is just not clear. :BangHead:

My first thought was "3 Musketeers" (not the candy bar). Of course the hand that held the sword is broken off...

Doc, this is lovely. John found one of an African boy/man. Interesting that Mass has these in relative abundance ( that means "more than one" lol). We had it looked at and were told it was likely made by the blacksmith on the property, likely in the 1800s, and it's worth $150. Yours looks to be older! Congrats! -Lisa

Hello btjbtj,

Thank you for the information.

I have been looking at the figure, wonder if it's the "Dutch Boy" or something along that line. :dontknow:
