Help with tag and badge please

My step son and I went for a quick hunt at an old church that was once a school as well. We found this cool warden badge and tag among some wheat pennies. Anyone have any idea what the tag was used for or how old the badge is? Thank you!!

Neat finds. The tag could be several things.. a tool check .. a miner's chit .. a key number tag, etc.

I really like the badge. I'm a retired LEO and really like badges.

I am currently volunteering at Wolf Creek Fish Hatchery. Not real far from you. Any input on where to hunt in the area would be appreciated. Traveling full time provides lots of opportunity to hunt new places, but not enough time to do the research necessary. I try to find locals to plug in with whenever possible.
