Help with this rock please

Hi found that while metal detecting with Garret ace 250.. the rock is 4 pounds strike white on a strike plate... And my metal detector go Nutt on iron and gold section.. the shape look rectangular....I am from Canada Quebec there's alot of granite type of rock here..I found the others rock in the same hole but they ring only in gold section...some are quartz can see thru with flashlight they are not magnetic i use a loupe x30 I think not sure anymore for the little yellow speck hope you can help thank you.

White streak may simply mean that its harder than the porcelain or you tested a spot high in silicate. I suggest chipping a bit off for a fresh view, grind the chips up and test for magnetic material and pan it to check for gold. Maybe something inside the rock thats setting of your detector that is not apparent on the outside.
