Ok I'm not really into selling my finds. Due to circumstances involving health and well being of family I'm am inclined to sell a few artifacts and some geology finds but with this I keep getting mixed answers. On the low end I've been told 100 to 150. On the other side we have specialty auctions for local hunters which I was told only to sell on one if these occasions. I was told in this setting it had possibilities of up to 1200. Input on this would be greatly appreciated. Just need to hear a few more opinions to see where it stands

This is the same piece in your other thread it looks like a typical Cobbs,Adena or archaic blade whichever the case may be it's not going to bring you more than probably $75 in my estimation maybe you can get more from a local guy.. Realistically you could probably expect to get $40 or so.
It's been heavily resharpened on the one end most folks I know would pay a little more for a complete example closer to first stage

Don't believe the value guides they are just trying to sell their books. The market is flat for artifacts. You can try and put it on a site at a % of the sale. Some sites are still selling them quite well. But they will tell you the price they think it will sell for. Good luck

Gator is right on what he said about the price and Rock is right about the market being down. Good Luck:thumbsup:

I agree with Gator 100%. That piece would bring between $50 to $75 tops in my opinion.
