looks like a large piece of plaster or lime stone with a 3/4" hole drilled through it......it a shoe in for an anchor for a dingy :laughing7: :laughing7: :laughing7:

I was leaning towards a tool from the woodland period native american... But anchor is always a possibility! LOL

ask in american indian artifacts just in case

but get some close ups first
so they can tell if it's worked

My guess would be an old crudely made hoe.Someone may have been improvising with what ever was nearby.
