what is the best way to clean a coin i have ZERO clue on what to use and i dont want to mess-up any coins i find thank you very much for your time

You need to be a whole lot more specific.

What denomination of coin is it?

What is the "problem" with it

What is the year, is this a rare coin?

The general rule is you DO NOT clean coins unless they are literally dug up from the ground.

A coin that is cleaned will lose HUGE amounts of value if it is a rare type, even common coins can lose value if cleaned.

If you ever plan on selling it- DO NOT clean it! You will kill the collectible value.

it was dug up its an old one cent coin its bigger than a quarter the whole face is gone its in really bad condition
