hi all
i am from the southern coastal parts of south africa and is new to this site but has followed your site for some time and learned a lot
Can you all have a look at this pic and tell me if i am on the right direction in finding Au
This rock was found on my farm and the is a lot of quartz lines in the rock formations
Most of the rock like in pic has a rusty colour in between and after chopping one up i founded a lot of pyrite(i think it is pyrite)
Also in some of the rock was a color that had all the colors of the rainbow
Could there be gold close by
The rock was right next to the river tres.jpg tres1.jpg tres2.JPG tress3.JPG
I think i should crush them and pan it or what?

I noticed this is your very first post - so, welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania (USA). I am sure someone will pipe in shortly to help in finding Au. Also, if you search - you will find a lot of member's located in Africa.
