Detector(s) used
Whites
Hello to all who read this thread.I found these hot rocks or nugetts the other day and need help Identifying them. The are heavy for their size and are all silver looking I found them on a farm near spotsylvania co and fredericksburg va.Them the high spots have these small round spheres that are silver looking.I have included a pic of the rocks.I am no expert but gold is found in our area and to me they look like white maybe crystaline gold.Maybe even platinum, palladium. They are not magnetic. The smaller nugett gives a little weaker hit.I have a garretts 200 pro.The detector is set at highest discriminator mode past gold n coins. The larger one gives strong hits.Ihave searched the area found with no more found yet. These were found about three feet apart and are the same type rocks.Could these be meteorites. There are rolling hills on this farm and could well be part of a pegmatite dike system. If you can help me identify them it would be great. All n all I think its a grea find.thx
