So, found this honker in the same area where I found the Colt .44 round, etc.
Any info would be appreciated.

I used a AA battery for size reference.

Looks like a hollow-point that didn't open up.
Maybe .45 ACP? (A guess)

Is it hollow?
It looks like a 45 cal. that someone melted the lead out of it or tossed into a fire.

The problem is Im not sure how it got to where it landed. I found it in a park that is about 100ft wide with a street and homes running parallel to it.

Opposite side of that is the river which is at least .75 miles wide then homes there. All of which have been around since the 1800s.

Noone would have been legally allowed to discharge a weapon anywhere remotely close to where I found this in any direction let alone hunt.

Weird.
