This was my first signal this morning, last one I found was toast. A nice 1865 2 cent piece :headbang:

I stuck it out in the heat for another 3 hours not finding much so I packed up and went home. This foundation site was just too overgrown as you can see. Also found a nice decrative piece of a suspender buckle and a bent buckle. Overall A pretty good day :thumbsup:

Yeah, I found one last year, no where near as crisp as this one. this was quite a stunner when I saw the 2 on it.
Keep at it, theres got to be more out there :thumbsup:

I've only dug one myself.
Every time I see your posts with those weeds all I can think about is Poison Ivy.

I think I am immune to it, Ive never got poison ivy/oak, but I also wear jeans long sleeves and gloves too. Not exactly comfortable in this 90 degree weather, but when your out all day in the woods you come home in better shape then if you didnt dress to the hilt. I hike through many many sticker bushes
to cover my sites and stick my coil in places that I hope noone else has hoping for good signals.
Its hard hunting, and ive ruined alot of clothes doing this, but I figure that if I dont think out of the box at these sites then I come home empty handed. I guess most of the time I dont think about it and take it for granted that the plants dont infect me. Someone should come up with a spray or something for those who it does infect.
