Anyway...
I found this on 3-15-19, on a graded berm at the edge of a cranberry bog -south Eastern MA. It’s a site that has been severely compromised by machinery, most of the artifacts that I find wash out of sand berms.
This point is a good example of the type. Basal grinding is present. Although the stem has an odd lobe effect on one side, as a whole, the point fits all the Merrimack type features very well - a late Archaic: range 3500 to 5100 years BP (before present)
I’m happy to find this one. It’s all there, except the needle tip.

You need to put the description in the body, not in the title.
 

You got a good one there MAMucker. I've always liked the look of flaked argillite.
