It was probably hidden when FDR recalled all the gold.My greatgrandfather hid his,and the family slowly converted it over the years.If only they would have waited for todays prices at an offshore bank.Just wait until the Spanish Government steps in and says it's theirs...
I agree 1000% That's why they should have NOT SAID A THING -------- The dealer is marketing the stiff like crazy but he will in the end do far better than the people he will only pay tax on his commission minus his expensed ------- In the final end He will profit more overall that the actual findersI have problems with this, it should be taxed at face value, not collectors price, the coins are U.S. currency. Why should you be taxed on anything that you dont sell, I guess it says thats the law. They will be forced to sell now to pay the taxes. Its like those people that win the big showcase on The Price Is Right, they have to sell half of the stuff to pay the taxes on the prizes.
