Is any body familiar with this folklore about SE New Mexico...
Cache that was hidden during the 15th century. Supposedly, hidden bullion and
hidden jewels...
it was originally taken into what was the northern territory of Mexico, at that time.....

Details about that one seem to be hard to come by. I never heard of a Cortes connection - just "Aztec". I think that range is the only one in NM that runs east-west, which could be important as a landmark.
