Wow, this would be some kind of Historical Significance. Probably some relics that would be found amongst the remains.

Those Hessians were first into some of the nastiest battles. Crazy stuff.

Why would there be reason to disturb their remains? We already know quite a bit about that period of time?

Because they were found in a mass grave. Scientists hope to use DNA to identify as many as they can. The remains will be re interred with some sense of dignity and respect.
