Hey all, long time lurker new member.

I've been lerking for a few years off and on on this site.
I am an hobbyist detectorist and an all around history and treasure seeker.
You never know whats just out of sight.

I have a few resent finds from my MD. Nothing earth shattering.
If you guys like to see some of the items I have found over the years
give me a reply. I am also going to start a few post. I have a TON of questions
for the experts here.

Metal detecting for 1 month solid now. Off and on for the past 15 years.
Camper, hiker and outdoor enthusiast. I show and train dogs professionally for over 25 years.
Siberian Huskies are my breed of choice. Yes I run them on sled.

I live in Upstate New York Yes NY sucks for MDing. Love to talk to other upstate MDer.
I also live in a county that has NO MD clubs and the Parks I hit are all virgin.

I just got exclusive rights to search our counties Fair Grounds and our OLD county fair grounds 1800's. OHHHH YES!!!!

Also have numerous other sites that i'm permission waiting. Old RR stations and Trolly stations from early 1900.
Lastly I do own a older property. House built in 1910 and old 1 room school house was on the property in 1850.

So should i post some finds? I need advice on everything. SO drop me a welcome and look for my other post.
I have an old rock that might be native american mortar. It has a knee notch in it so cool. Look for my post.

Dogs. Lol NY sucks just because they
are so strict with MD laws. Ya I know there is stuff
In the ground but you better have a MD licenses or written permission or your in trouble.
That's the only thing that sucks about MDing in NY.
